Annual Carnival of Flowers fever has hit Toowoomba, and Glenvale Villas has once again made the finals for our beautiful gardens.
On Saturday, September 22 (the big day for Toowoomba locals when the Grand Central Floral Parade floats its way through town), Glenvale Villas is hosting a fun morning for the local community.
It’s become a real tradition in Toowoomba to tour the award winning and finalist gardens, so as per previous years, we’re throwing open our gates.
Join us from 8am to 2pm for food, live entertainment and tours of our award winning gardens.
On the day there will be a sausage sizzle, drinks, raffles and plant sales from carefully nurtured and propagated stock from our amazing Glenvale Villas gardener.
And because we’re a little bit country (and a lot concerned) we’ve decided to donate all proceeds to Drought Angels. This incredible hard working charity supports our farmers with food hampers, care packs, prepaid visa cards, local store vouchers, stock feed and hay. And, importantly, they are there for mental health, as our families on the land struggle with the emotional and financial burdens of a dry time.
We couldn’t think of a more worthy cause. So help us out and have some fun while you do!
